This workshop will demystify the process, providing you with a clear roadmap for strategic content testing. In this workshop, Heather will share expert guidance on building a compelling case for content testing and developing comprehensive content testing plans that deliver measurable results.
In Day 1 of this workshop you’ll practice the skills you need to:
- Craft a persuasive argument and articulate the value of content testing to stakeholders to help secure the resources you need.
- Define clear objectives and identify precisely what you want to test and why for focused and impactful testing.
- Develop a robust research plan that outlines your testing methodology, target audience, and success metrics.
- Synthesize and analyze your testing data and translate it into actionable insights that inform content strategy.

Day 2 will focus on learning five content testing methods — including hands-on practice and support — giving you concrete takeaways you can put to work right away.
By the end of this session, you’ll have the content testing tools you need to hit the ground running in your day-to-day work, and will have practiced these methods with a safe and supportive content community.
In Day 2 of this workshop you’ll learn, discuss, and practice ways to:
- Choose the best type of testing and when to combine them.
- Conduct five types of content tests (with select hands-on practice).
- Analyze, synthesize, and apply your results to real-world problems.
- Decide when and how AI can support your work.

Heather Parrish is a content designer and leader with experience across product and design systems at Intuit and Compass. Before life in tech, she served as a curriculum designer and educator for secondary and higher education institutions across Montana, where she currently lives there still with her husband, two kids, a dog, six chickens, and the occasional bear.
