Shannon Leahy, Senior Content Design Manager at Capital One
Shannon has worked at the intersection of words, strategy, design, and people for more than 15 years. Currently, she is a senior content design manager at Capital One. She calls Richmond, Virginia home, and organizes meetups for local and global content and UX communities.
JR Miller, UX Manager at Google
This Caribbean-American writer, designer, and speaker has developed a reputation for making waves in the world of technology. JR has devoted his work to making innovation feel more accessible for a vast expanse of audiences, including Black business owners, women of color in the design world, and technology users with disabilities. While he currently works in UX at Google, he cut his teeth at companies like Netflix, Grooveshark, and cPanel.
Lily Rutman, Staff Content Designer at DoorDash
Lily leads content design for DoorDash’s fast-growing ads business. At DoorDash, she drives A/B content testing to improve the user experience, reinforce content guidelines and standards, and build a library of learnings that can be used by all. She’s also co-building a 0→1 internal content tool to make content creation faster and more streamlined.
